From 7th Nov to 6th Dec 2009

Every year and month, in fact every moment in life, feng shui, i.e. the Qi around us is moving and changing, just that we are not aware of it. That is why every beginning of a new year everyone is wondering about their new luck in the new coming year.

Actually there are a few factors to consider when talking about individuals "LUCK", like one's destiny (八字), the house environment (风水)...etc. My personal experience and learning, the most easiest way to monitor your own Qi (feng shui) without going through too much of those hassles, is the FLYING STARS FENG SHUI.

Simply just watch out the date and direction where the lucky stars "8" and "6" fly into and try your best to face it and use these directions you should feel much happier and luckier. Avoid these unlucky stars especially "5", "2", "3" and "7" these are the bad luck stars, sick, quarrels, loose money, loose business opportunity...etc

If your main door, your room or your room door, your bed, your study or working desk, is located in the south east sector, then refer to the relevant grid for the kind of luck that you will be experiencing the kind of luck indicated by the stars there.

To start with a lucky day, you got to try to get down from your bed every morning in one of these Auspicious Sectors of your beds (measure from the center of your bed) those sectors in RED AND AVOID THOSE IN BLUE!

Feng Shui is simply AVOID the BAD sectors and GO for the BEST sectors.

(just click on the Table for enlarge view)

Why must I do that? How does it helps?

An individuals achievements and performance in life would be limited at best, fruitless at worst, if he chose to enter a career field that is 'unfavourable' to his Bazi.

If you work in an Industrial that is your favourable element, it will help to balance up your four pillars of elements -- i.e. you will tend to feel much happier, gain more supports from your colleagues and superiors. An unbalanced pillars of destiny normally lead a person towards unhappy life, weird behaviour, bad working attitudes, lack of supports, even sickness attack.

Some Jobs descriptions have evolved, most jobs nowadays involve more than one of the Five Elements. Eg. Hair saloon business, also offers haircuts which uses scissors-Metal, so hair saloon business involves both wood and metal.

Singers - Metal and Fire, Mouth and Show business.

Car Dealers - Water and Metal.

Which Element do I Need ?

Master Edmund Lee from Hong Kong, he classified according to your Date of Birth, the Four Categories of Hunger Person based on the Four Seasons of the Year.

The above concept has been proven to a certain extent and covered more than 80% of accuracy. I find it logical and helpful in looking for 'Which Element do I need'. Besides struggling with the complicated interpretations and trying to decode the layers and layers of Destiny Codes, in fact, when you really studied more in depth into Bazi, many books ended up with different argument towards the favourable elements of certain Bazi especially when it appeals to be more complicated like combination, clashes, harming and so on.

First and foremost, in analysing Bazi or Destiny Codes, is to see which season you are born in and what Day Master are you. Why? In the Four Pillars of Bazi, only the month and hour have temperature, and that denotes the strength of the Five Elements in the Destiny Codes.

The Four Seasons:-

Spring (19/2-4/5) - The season of Blooming! Plants and Flowers are most blooming and prosperious. So those who born in the Spring, would have plenty of Wood and shortage of Metal, so Metal will be the first element he short of and most needed, so they are the Metal Hunger Person.

Summer (5/5-7/8) - The season of Hot Fire! The Sun is very hot, temperature raised, hardly rain, water dries up. Thus Water is the most needed element for those who are born in this season and they have lots of Fire element, so they are the Water Hunger Person.

Autumn (8/8-7/11) - The season of falling leaves. Plants is the most shortage element for those who are born during Autumn season while their Metal strength is strong, so they are the Wood Hunger Person.

Winter (8/11-18/2) - The Cold season. Fire is the first element for those who are born in this season as they have plenty of water, they need warm, so they are the Fire Hunger Person.

Of course, everyone normally has two to three favourable elements that they needed in order to balance up their four pillars, but the above method is definitely the easiest way to ascertain your first and most needed Element.

++ The above dates is not applicable to Western Countries as the four seasons are different, however, the principles basically is the same. It refers to the place and the moment a person is born -- the first breathe a baby is born and breath in, formed his very own Destiny Code (Bazi).++

Feng Shui is a Science Not a Religion

Feng Shui has its roots in the philosophy of Yin and Yang, which also happens to have some cross-over with Taoism. There is no God in Feng Shui, no spirits in Feng Shui...just the natural environment.

Many theories and practices relating to Chinese medicine, martial arts, health, religion -- almost all are premised on the backbone principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements. So while Ba Gua does have some application in Taoism, it is MATHEMATICAL MODEL used to calculate and ascertain different types of energy patterns in Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is culturally neutral, non-religious in nature and certainly does not require you to compromise your priciples or faith. Using Feng Shui is about benefiting yourself, helping yourself and making use of the natural energies that already exist in nature; not changing or compromising your beliefs in God. As long as we keep religion and Feng Shui separate, each can co-exit peacefully in our life.

The word 'SCIENCE' comes from the Latin word 'scientia' which means 'knowledge' - any systematic field of study or the knowledge gained from it.

The device to measure 'Qi' is the Solar and Lunar Calendars, the Luo Pan and observation skills - i.e. the use of one's eyes to study and feel the environment.

Man Luck

Bazi is the Destiny Code that we are borned with, The YEAR, MONTH, DAY and HOUR when we were borned. This is the Heaven Luck that given to us and it makeup 33% of our LUCK, another 33% is the Man Luck...then 33% the Earth Luck.

By knowing our Bazi or so call decoding our destiny code, is to know when to take the appropriate action at the appropriate time. Many of us always put the blame on our FAITH, without knowing that it is only 33% and there are many things that are within the power of a person to change. 99.9% of the time, it is a question of whether they want to, or do not want to do what is needed.

Man Luck refers to what you do (or don't do), your thoughts, your goals and your principles, anything within your control is MAN LUCK.

It is not about being 'governed' by destiny, it is about 'shaping' our destiny. If our destiny is good, follow it. If the destiny is unfavourable, then don't walk down that path.

Bazi offers the answer to the question of what is the problem.

Man Luck - your own efforts, your actions, your deeds, your choices, is the solution.

The world has no room for losers today. But being a winner is not about crossing the finish line first, or being one of the richest person on the planet. Being a winner is living your life on your terms, and being firmly in the driver's seat. It is taking control of your life and facing up to yourself, and making the best of your situations, being comfortable and achieving happiness.
